Middle School Division - Science as it is presented in Prep, is an integrated study of general science, life science, chemistry and physics. Each year—from sixth through eighth—the students become more proficient in their knowledge of science and in their ability to perform hands-on experiments. The science curriculum is designed to encourage interest in science as well as provide a solid foundation for high school science courses. Seventh and eighth graders participate in a school science fair with winners going on to the Alamo Regional Science Fair.

High School Division - The general objectives of the Science Department are to encourage and reinforce natural curiosity concerning the world about us, to train the students in problem solving by inquiry and logic, and to develop within the student a background in science which will enable her to become a responsible, informed citizen. All science courses are laboratory oriented and are focused on laboratory and field activities.
